The book opens with Jack’s mother, Kathleen, making her third attempt in as many days at seducing their live-in foreign exchange student, Ajay. Not finding him in his bedroom, she hunts for him in the mansion. Kathleen finds Ajay nude, as well as Jack and Bert, sleeping off alcohol and pot in a guest bedroom.
