When dawn breaks over the FairHaven Golf and Country Club, greens-keepers Freddy Murray and Dwayne Hitchcock find the body of club member and local real estate developer, Murray Smith on the apron of the ninth green. As Detective Lieutenant Bill Bennett and his team begin their investigation into the suspicious death of the victim, they learn of two more deaths, from the same unusual weapon. An investigation into Mr. Smith’s business and personal life reveals a complicated web of fluid sexual relationships, klepto-crime in Eastern Europe, money laundering, and off-shore bank accounts. It takes the combined efforts of local police, the FBI, and a shadowy sister agency to track the perpetrators and, with the help of Darwinian justice, find closure for the families of the victims.
